Fascism
Fascism in power is the open terrorist dictatorship of the most reactionary, most nationalist, misogynist, genocidal, imperialist, and militarist elements of the capitalist class.
Fascism is the power of 1%, those who dominate the global financial institutions and control our means of survival. It is the organization of terrorist vengeance against the working class, the dispossessed and propertyless, the exploited and oppressed.
Inflamed by white supremacist demagogues, fascism has taken over large sections of the working class dislocated by the crisis of permanent loss of jobs and income as robots replace workers.
As the crisis worsens and people rise up in response, neo-fascist movements are on the rise globally and in the US where they combine most virulently with the centuries long white supremacy.
Everything is in place in Washington to institute a fascist dictatorship. The military, the courts, CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, prisons and concentration camps. All the laws they need. Federal control over state and local government finances, including police and prisons. Total control over information and instruments of violence.
In order to complete a fascist takeover they need an organized mass base that will enforce the fascism in local communities. Neighbor informing on neighbor. Attacking each other. It is happening already. White supremacist organizations and police are waging war against Black people, Native Americans, Mexicans and all people who have suffered from colonial domination.
In the early twentieth-century, a section of the bourgeoisie based in industrial capital waged war against fascism. The era of industrial capital is over. In our time of globalization and dominance of financial institutions, the transnational capitalist class has a common interest in using fascism to prevent proletarian revolution.
The fight against fascism rests entirely in the hands of the working class, the dispossessed and propertyless, the exploited and oppressed. The future of humanity depends upon it.
